Long-standing want: a self-hosted Matrix homeserver with bridges, and a bot endpoint that other homelab automation can talk to.

Pairs naturally with monitoring (alerts land in a room) and with the n8n/router idea. Worth deciding early whether the bot is the notification path for the whole estate, because that changes what monitoring needs to emit.
